21st birthday goes bad for military man

SILVERDALE, Wash. — This is one 21st birthday to forget.A 21-year-old man stationed at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor has been arrested after getting into multiple altercations on what one of his friends told law enforcement was the man's 21st birthday.The man was kicked out of the Old Town Bistro early Saturday morning, the first in a series of events. The Kitsap Sun reports about 12:15 a.m. a witness said the man approached him and started a conversation.

The winners of the submarine maintenance contracts are: AMSEC in Virginia Beach, VA (N32253-10-D-0001); BAE Systems Hawaii Shipyards in Honolulu, HI (N32253-10-D-0002); Chugach Government Services in Anchorage, AK (N32253-10-D-0003); General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton, CT (N32253-10-D-0004); Pacific Shipyards International in Honolulu, HI (N32253-10-D-0005); and QED Systems in Virginia Beach, VA (N32253-10-D-0006). Invasion of Inchon during the Korean War (click to view larger) Pushed to the edge of the Korean penisula by a massive and sustained invasion by the North Korean army, South Korean, US, and UN troops dug in at a perimeter around the city of Pusan. It was the the summer of 1950 and things looked desparate for the allied forces. Then, US General Douglas MacArthur launched a bold counteroffensive – an amphibious landing at the port of Inchon near the 38th parallel. The landing was successful, MacArthur retook South Korea’s capital city of Seoul. The South Korean and allied forces broke through at Pusan and the North Korean army beat a hasty retreat. The tide of the Korean war had turned.
